October 1, 2005

Wow - October 1st - only three months left in 2005.

Yesterday morning I completed my first week of radiation treatments - Only five weeks to go. I received good news regarding my cancer marker (CA-125), it came down 21 points! I didn't get too sick from the treatments until last night - I was so very sick, but I'm beginning to feel some better now. Chemo also made me sick this week. For the first time in over two years I had a reaction to the chemo drug. It wasn't too bad, and they were able to slow it down so that the action was reversed. I didn't get home until after 4:00 on Wednesday afternoon. I am still having problems with pain, limited range of motion and use of my right shoulder/arm. The hope is that there isn't too much nerve damage and that the pain will subside as the treatments continue.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend - I will write more later!

Hi dlynne....I am finally getting back into a routine since returning from vacation ---although the suitcases still aren't unpacked. argh.

Anyway...just wanted to say that I have been praying for you (still). In my previous life (before getting married and having Olivia) I was once a Medical Technologist ---used to run the test CA125...good to hear your level has dropped!!

I continue to lift you up before the Father ---I have been singing "Behold He Comes" all day. Actually, the title is Days of Elijah...anyway....There is NO God like Jehovah! Jehovah Rapha...God, YOUR Healer! Keep believing!

In Him, Deb
